I had a great week off…too short, but it was good. Now I’m back up here in Minnesota, and we are having the first real good icing of the season. Nothing bad, just climb through until on top, and the top of the clouds was around 5000-7000′ all night long. It’s when the clouds get up into the Flight Levels that make it more interesting.
On another note, back home, I am starting to meet some very good-to-know people in the corporate world, so hopefully one of these days I can actually have a job in Florida where I live, or close to home anyways. So far in this career, I have instructed in RI (my wife and I lived there for 3 years with my prior job), did aerial survey based in Batavia, NY (I was there for 3 days, then on the road for 4 months), and now cargo. At this cargo company, I have been based in Ohio, and now Minnesota. Ahhh, the life of a pilot…somebody please hire me in Florida!!! ![]()
know a guy named D.F that did the same thing out of ROC/GVQ?
